Atlas Line International Limited, a Non Vessel Operating Common Carrier and a registered company in the United Kingdom,  107 Cleethorpe Road, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire – DN 31 3ER is part of Atlas International Network NV, trading name Atlas Logistic Network, with registered office at Santvoortbeeklaan 25, 2100 Deurne, VAT number BE0474037515, (hereafter “ATLAS”, “we” or “us”), who is responsible for processing your personal data. 

This data will be used to communicate with suppliers, partners and prospects in the context of our contractual agreement.

We also need this to answer the questions you have sent to us as well as the execution of the assignments. We will also use this information to further inform you about services that are in line with the agreement we already have with you. If no contractual agreement has yet been concluded. We will use your information to contact you, either by telephone and / or writing (by email and / or by post) with your permission.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we process your personal information and what measures we take to protect your privacy when you use our website. As described in our privacy policy, you grant us permission to process your personal data. The information and details collected are necessary to provide you with the best service possible, or to execute the agreement and / or to comply with legal obligations.

ATLAS is bound by, and uses your information in accordance with, the General Data Protection Regulation of April 27, 2016 regarding Data privacy and Data protection concerning the treatment and processing of personal data (the “GDPR”).

Scope and permission: With your Atlas Logistic Network membership, you expressly consent to the collection use, disclosure and storage by us of your personal data, as described in this Privacy Policy.

ATLAS, may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We therefor advise you to read these regularly. Substantial changes to our Privacy Policy will be communicated on our website and through mailing list. The amended Privacy Policy will be effective immediately after it has been placed on our Website for the first time. 

Security

ATLAS has taken sufficient technical and organizational measures to ensure the safe processing of your personal data. These measures correspond to the nature of the personal data and are proportionate to the potential severity of the risk and serve to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.

The risk of accidental or unauthorized destruction, loss, modification or access to and any other unauthorized processing of the data is limited to a minimum. Unfortunately, no risk can be completely avoided. If unauthorized access is obtained to the IT systems of (company name) we will immediately take all possible measures to minimize the damage to and / or theft of the data. If the rights of the data subjects have been harmed, a report of data leak will be made to the Privacy Commission as well as to the data subjects.

GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION:

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a comprehensive update to existing European Union laws that goes into effect on May 25, 2018. The GDPR was designed to harmonize data privacy laws across Europe, to protect and empower all EU resident’s data privacy and to reshape the way organizations across the region approach data privacy.

ARTICLE 1 –  Personal data collected about you

1.1 When using the term “personal data” in this Privacy Policy, information that relates to you will be used to identify you, either directly or in combination with other information that is held or obtained externally. Your personal data may include, for example, your name, your contact details information on how you use the websites and apps. ATLAS partner websites and apps, or how you interact with Atlas Logistic Network meetings. We exclude company details, staff details, company history from the personal data information.

Personal data is collected:

  • When you use ATLAS services and interact with ATLAS through its different channels. This includes:
    • Name, address, gender, company details and preferences when you sign up for Atlas Logistic Network meetings;
    • Any personal information or images you share on the social media platforms;
    • Subscription information linked to the registrations you make;
    • Interest in specific products on Atlas Logistic Network websites e.g. when using one of our partners;
    • Video, images and other media that can identify you on the meetings site, for security and in promotional media at an ATLAS event ( for more information about this topic, we refer to the specific articles in the General Terms and Conditions of these events, for example 12.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of ATLAS).
    • From ATLAS partners who may share your information with ATLAS, for the purposes described in this privacy policy;
    • From joint controllers, such as Instagram, google and facebook. If you provide us with access to any site with video content, then you agree that we can share your video viewing with, or obtain information about your video viewing from, third-party social media sites for at least two years or until you withdraw authorization or connection to the social media site. You control the personal information you allow us to have access to through the privacy settings on the applicable social media site and the permissions you give us when you grant us access to the personal information retained by the respective social media site about you. By associating an account managed by a social media site with your account and authorizing us to have access to this information, you agree that we can collect, use and retain the information provided by these social media sites in accordance with this privacy notice. We may also use plug-ins or other technologies from various social media sites. If you click on a link provided via a social media plug in, you are voluntarily establishing a connection with that respective social media site.
      Data may be collected and processed for the following categories of information about you for the purposes described in this policy:

      • Your contact and account information;
      • Your posts and messages on third party social media. You should be aware of the possibility that others may use, tag or repost your information without your knowledge;
      • Information about how you use the ATLAS websites or mobile apps;
      • Your preferences on the social media sites mentioned earlier;
      • Please be aware that the data stored on the platforms of the joint controllers is not under the control of ATLAS.
    • If you give us personal information about someone else, you must do so only with that person’s authorization. You should inform them how we collect, use, disclose and retain their personal information according to our privacy notice.

1.2 Sensitive “special category” personal data. Personal data that can be considered sensitive is not actively processed. However, meal preferences and special requests concerning injuries or disabilities might reveal sensitive data. This data is processed by the ATLAS service team.

ARTICLE 2 –  How and why is your personal data used?

2.2 Your personal data can be used for the following purposes:

  • Informational purposes inherent to the use of the ATLAS platform. These purposes are part of the terms and use of the ATLAS platform.
    ​The purpose of the platform is to inform you about services and future events sales:

    • Registration for Atlas Logistic Network events;
    • Event registration info;
    • Atlas Logistic Network event info (practical, program, etc);
  • Commercial Purposes
    • Provide you with marketing via telephone calls, email, text;
    • Provide you with marketing from other ATLAS corporate family members
    • Provide you with marketing from third parties
    • Customize third party advertising you might see on third party websites;
    • Use your precise geo-loction to provide location based services;
    • Use your sensitive personal information to facilitate transactions in certain categories.
  • Operational Purposes for event registrations
    The following processing of your data is part of the contractual agreement with ATLAS if you register for an attendance. If you purchase an event attendance,;

Unless expressly denied by you, your details will be shared with current partners of the network in order for you to use their services. Their privacy notices and practices will apply to any personal information you provide to them or they collect from you. We therefor encourage you to ask questions before you disclose your personal information to others.

  1. Your data can be used with the following objectives:

-Transportation to and from Atlas events or to and from hotels/B&B,…
-Transactional emails by ATLAS (such as emails to remind you to update your personal scheduler, your registrations for tours, your payment confirmation(s));
-Ticket and payment processing;
-Security, safety and health procedures;
-Reporting and statistics about attendants to ATLAS events;
-Printing of, among others, hard tickets (only in case you receive hard tickets);
-Customer service by ATLAS and their print providers;
-Check-in procedures and hospitality facilities (to make sure you find your way to your shuttle or bus, to make your meeting experience easier, to help you check in to your hotel accommodation, the event or a restaurant);
-Booking of hotels, trains, buses and flights;

If you do not wish to receive marketing communications from us, you can unsubscribe via the link in an email you received at any time. Indicate your communication preferences in your mailing account. Keep in mind, we do not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your consent.

b) Your data can be used by the following types of third parties only for processing related to your attendance package:

– Booking companies;
– Fulfilment and shipping companies;
– Hospitality staff at check-in points (among others but not limited to airports, hotels, B&B, bus stations, train stations and restaurants on site);
– Local and federal governments;
– Mailing companies;
– Operational staff on site;
– Payment processing companies;
– Printing companies;
– Safety and health providers and staff (such as security or first aid personnel);
– Transport companies

ARTICLE 3 – Control your data

3.1 When necessary, your consent will be requested in order to process your personal data. If you choose not to give your consent, or if you withdraw your consent. You will not be able to take (full) advantage of the services offered and your details displayed will be removed from the portal. 

At all times, you are able to check your personal data collected and processed by ATLAS by going to the portal platform. On social platforms, already published material will not be removed.

3.2 You can see and review company information through the portal. To change details on the portal you should contact the support desk, their details are displayed in the portal by searching on Atlas Logistic Network name. Please note that they will only make the necessary amends if you are a known-user in the portal.

Unless there is a legal obligation to keep your records, you always have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can send a request to exercise this right to hq@atlas-network.com. Your request will be given as soon as possible, but within 4 weeks. Even if you have given us permission to use our data, this permission can be withdrawn at any time.

ARTICLE 4 – Cookies and other technologies 

While using the service, ATLAS may send cookies, originating from the domain tomorrowland.com or any tomorrowland.com subdomain.

A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier that is sent to your browser from a website’s computer and stored on your computer’s hard drive.

ATLAS does not store any personal details in a cookie that can be used to identify individuals. ATLAS can, however, track your activity on online assets for statistical analysis and to enhance your experience.

Although cookies are required to be able to fully use the services and all of its features, you can always refuse to accept cookies by changing the related settings of your browser.

Certain cookies like first party functional cookies and performance cookies are mandatory, other cookies can be switched off in your browser.

ARTICLE 5 – Security of your personal data

5.1 As described in this Privacy Policy, in some instances your personal data will be shared with third parties, in which case that third party is required to have appropriate technical and organizational measures in place to protect your personal data.

5.2 However, in some instances, ATLAS may be compelled by law to disclose your personal data to a third party, such as a government body, and has limited control over how that data is protected by that party.

5.3 The information that you provide to ATLAS will be held in the systems located at the registered office in Antwerp or in those of an appointed third party (mentioned above) or our cloud service providers (Amazon AWS, Stone Internet Services, Zendesk, Outlook 365, Cumul.io and box.com).

5.4 ATLAS may also allow access to your information by other third parties who act for ATLAS for some of the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or for other purposes explicitly approved by you.

5.5 Abuse and unsolicited commercial communication (“SPAM”) is something we do not tolerate. You do not have permission to add other users of the portal to your mailing list ‘e-mail or mail), even if a user has done business with you, unless the relevant user has expressly agreed to this. If you notice that someone is abusing our portal (SPAM or SPOOF e-mails), we kindly request you to send an e-mail to hq@atlas-network.com

5.6 Data breaches can be reported by mail to: hq@atlas-network.com. ATLAS has an internal policy and regularly educates staff on preventing and reporting possible data breaches.

Based upon the outcome of an impact assessment, ATLAS can notify affected data subjects and the Belgian Privacy authorities of the breach.

ARTICLE 6 -Storage limitations 

ATLAS will not retain your data longer than necessary: your personal data is retained in the portal an can be removed once you decide to delete your membership. Data stored and processed outside of ATLAS portal account for the purposes as described in Article 2 will be removed once the processing activity is completed and the data is no longer needed expect when ATLAS is legally required to keep the records for a specified retention time.

ARTICLE 7 – Miscellaneous

This Privacy Policy is without prejudice to ATLAS’s right to take further actions vis-à-vis certain users of the Service, based on an agreement, the law, regulations, etc and ATLAS is implementing Data Privacy, Data Protection and Data Security by design and by default where and whenever possible.

ARTICLE 8 – Updates 

We may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time, including as part of the GDPR, which will come into effect on 25 May. ATLAS will update the Privacy Policy and will publish on the Atlas Logistic Network website and sub websites in any new version of this Policy.
